  • Diamonds' Screech

Triumph rains from the sky in explosive rounds of sprinkles in remembrance of independence, a moment of unity silences worries. July 4th I sat alone (at first) on top of my car a good distance away from the town fireworks while I was waiting for my brother. It was the first time I sat so far away to witness them, it was actually by accident that I saw them. The fireworks had started late so they ended an hour after I got there to pick him up. I don't go to see the fireworks every year, I'm glad I did this year. I climbed on to the top of my car and then decided that it was too far up, and there was nowhere to lean so I slid down to the hood and propped myself against the windshield.

I watched as the black canopy became a painter's tablet, colors splattered in spurts of inspiration

they were diamonds screeching in the darkened horizon, trickling into a chandelier before slyly winking their farewells beyond the smoke.

The amazing skirt I wore to see the fireworks,I thoguht it was pretty fitting since it had all those sparkles of diffeent colors =]

    What I'm wearing:

    - 5.99 skirt from forever21 (probably the best find I've ever had aside from a 50 dollar valentino belt SPLURGEEEE)

    - pink ribboned corset- i forget

    - Awesome orange wedges (I got ytellow shoes, I can't decide which I like better)- DSW
    - black ring: asos

    - rose ring: i forget

It made me smile since each song is special

Summer is ending in a month, I wonder what autumn will bring us as the leaves redden and blush their crimson hue.
